Class Descriptions

Namaslay® Sculpt: A lot of yoga with a little strength building, this flow-based class is for people who want to move, sweat, and begin to build strength for longevity in the yoga practice. You can expect movements with light weights, resistance bands or just body-weight, and lots of flow in between. Appropriate for all levels.

Namaslay® Strength: Are you dealing with minor tweaks? Does chaturanga hurt your wrists or make your shoulders scream? Often times, minor injuries in yoga (and life!) occur due to a lack of stabilization, strength and support around the joints and within the body. This class is about strategically building a strong, stable foundation which will complement your yoga practice and your life off the yoga mat, as well. Each class will start with a dynamic yoga warm up, followed by a mini core circuit and then a series of strength-building exercises using our own bodyweight and equipment like resistance bands, sliders, light weights and more. Appropriate for all levels, and particularly helpful for those who are hyper-mobile, those dealing with minor back or shoulder pain, and those who feel they’ve plateaued with their yoga practice.

Namaslay® Hip-Hop Yoga: Using the best hip-hop tunes as the soundtrack, this is a powerful and delightfully challenging flow class appropriate for levels 2/3. Modifications will be offered as needed. Expect to leave feeling rejuvenated and centered. While some classes may use hip hop instrumentals, others may use traditional hip hop songs with lyrics. Please note that due to the nature of the hip hop tracks, you may hear explicit lyrics.

Namaslay® Flow: For people who love vinyasa flow, this 75 minute class will link breath with creative sequencing for an energizing yoga experience that’ll leave you wanting more. Appropriate for all levels.

Namaslay® Flow and Go: For people with tight schedules, this is a 45 minute version of our Namaslay® Flow class. This vinyasa-based class will link breath with creative sequencing for an energizing yoga experience that’ll leave you wanting more. Appropriate for all levels.

Namaslay® Sunday’s Donation Based Class: Every Sunday, we’ll hold a donation based class. This fall, we invite you to pay what you can (recommended donation $10). Please bring cash or check - all donations will go towards our Namaslay® Scholarship Fund, which will bring yoga memberships to the community this holiday season.
