Description: This in-depth course on meditation will explore the benefits of meditation, take a look at its origins, a variety of meditation practices, mudras to complement the meditation practices, and how to teach a variety of meditation in a way that makes it applicable to modern day. We'll cover common meditation struggles and how to overcome them, the various stages of meditation, and techniques geared towards yoga teachers and yoga students alike. Please bring: a yoga mat, a yoga blanket, and two thick towels.

Course Prerequisites - please check out Buddha's Brain: The Practical Neuroscience of Happiness, Love and Wisdom by Rick Hansen, and Namaslay by Candace Moore ahead of time, if you can.
